There are several opportunities for your school to participate in research studies being conducted this spring by ETS:
For participation in the CTP 4 online vertical scaling study, schools can receive $20 for each student who completed all of the CTP 4 tests, plus Science at the appropriate grade level via the Online format.
Schools could have students take a selection of the CTP 4 online tests at no cost to the school, but no incentive is offered. The only subtest that is required for this option is Science.
Schools will receive an additional $20 incentive for each student who completes all of the required testing in Option A and also completes 2 paper-and-pencil Lexile and Quantile linking tests in Reading and Mathematics within 2 weeks of taking the CTP 4 Online.
To register your school for the online vertical scaling study, the online science equating study, or the Lexile®/Quantile® measures linking study, please complete and submit the information below as soon as possible. If you have any questions before registering, additional information is available in a list of frequently asked questions.

YES. My school would like to take advantage of the $20/student incentive this spring. I understand that students must take all of the CTP 4 tests (appropriate for the grade level) in the online format, including the Science test.
Check the grade levels below to indicate the levels for which you are willing to administer the tests in this manner and then register the TOTAL number of students who will participate in the table below.
My school will not take advantage of the incentive described above, but our students will take the CTP 4 online at no cost. (Please indicate the number of students you plan to test online below.) The only subtest that is required for this option is Science.
For each box in the table below, please indicate the TOTAL number of students that will participate in testing.
ETS is also conducting a Science equating study in online format only. This test is free and offers students the opportunity to answer science questions based on a national curriculum. If you would like to participate, please indicate the number of students that will be taking the tests online at each level.
This study offers schools an additional $20 incentive per student who participates in this study (Option C) and takes all of the online CTP4 tests at the appropriate grade level (Option A).
